Trends, foresight and cultural intelligence manager H/F

Job aim:
Our client is a global premium spirits and wine company that include prestigious brands across a wide range of product portfolio. The global Consumer Insights Team inspired by the mission to “Lead human centric decisions” is looking for its future Trends and Foresights manager that will be in charge of improving the worldwide architecture of Trend watch and trends ecosystem. Job based in Paris

Roles and responsibilities:
Lead a new project of trend tracker in order to enrich current foresight backbone with quantitative data coming from social intelligence.
Steer overall project delivery by collaborating with a cross-functional team and by coordinating the different workstreams between external data partner and internal stakeholders.
Ensure proper monitoring and reporting to key stakeholders highlighting opportunities and risks clearly
Ensure production of actionable insights and foresights by anchoring trends

Explore, capture and track cultural trends globally to identify new consumers behaviors
Based on a constant cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary trends exploration, lead, organize & supervise an efficient, prospective, leading edge and actionable trend watch practice
Identify, select and evaluate the best sources, efficient research tools and potential partners
Put in place best-in-class tools to ensure regular good practice and intelligence sharing with all stakeholders
Manage and oversee trends suppliers’ relationship

Lay the foundations of a culturally relevant strategic vision
Support Cultural Foresight trend forecasters to identify and gather relevant data, case studies, emerging practices to put in place fit for purpose foresights, implications and rules of engagement
Engage with other entities for an on-going enrichment of global trends/Foresights with local specificities
Improve the visibility and understanding of the Cultural Foresight ecosystem by putting in place the relevant tools, formats and contents to make it dynamic, actionable and accessible.

Required experience
• 7+ experience in project management within a global company, consultancy firm or research institute
• Good knowledge across traditional and digital research/Insight methodologies & techniques – especially in the fields of social listening and foresights
• Experience in foresights and trends forecasting
• Highly self-motivated capability and drive, strong networking and project management skills
• Proven track record in project management on a global scale: co-leading a cross-functional team and managing different stakeholders from different entities and geographies
• Proficient French/English (written & spoken)

• A strong analytical person with a good business mindset
• A data enthusiast – interested in learning about data, but also able to understand exactly what the data shows and how to collect, analyse and use it
• Comfortable with change, willing to get out of the comfort zone
• Being able to challenge the status quo and to continuously adapt, acting with a consulting mindset
