Customer Value Creation Manager

The company

Our client, a world leader in services related to the international shopping ecosystem, is looking for its future Head of Marketing. The B2B Marketing Director will have to build the marketing strategy, team and tools.
To support new positioning and perception
To generate interests and leads with new stakeholders in the client portfolio
To Harmonize and enrich the sales tools to support all the Group sales team in delivering an increased and more complex value proposal


1. Define and pilote common delivery services strategy

  • Manage the roadmap for group delivery services, leveraging local markets evolutions and business units’ solutions, in a fast evolving industry
  • Build up the portfolio of delivery services across countries based on local practices
  • Develop informed opinion about direct and indirect competing offers
  • Be the reference contact for business units’ requests regarding the services
  • Actively promote delivery services and propose evolutions to internal stakeholders
  • Monitor the performances of the services (volume, service level, price points, costs…)

2. Manage a team of delivery services project managers 

  • Deliver projects cross-functionally with all stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT…) of the Group and the Business units, on budget, quality, and time
  • Build up business cases and business requirements, coordinate developments and roll-out with local and central teams, drive the ramp up by business Units
  • Have the team define the service specifications and formalise the requirements, Coordinate end-to-end implementation with business units
  • Manage the services documentation and master data in the team, and drive implementation with commercial, operational and IT processes teams
  • Support and promote continuously develop the team
  • Ensure close collaboration with rest of the central Marketing and Communication team (market research, digital services, sales support), and the other group departments, especially Sales, Operations, Customer Services, and IT
  • Identify risks, report progresses

3. Market watch

  • Watch market developments and service evolutions
  • Identify trends, monitor and benchmark competition
  • Build up vertical markets knowledge to support the global accounts managers
  • Spot market opportunities.


Manage a team of delivery services project managers.

Functional management of Business units’ products managers, or cross-functional teams

Sector and Technical expertise

Excellent understanding of the express and parcel market, and of supply chain challenges in general

Understanding of B2B, B2C, B2B2C, and C2C marketing strategies

  • About 10 years “field” experience in a transportation or logistics company in activities related with the position,
  • Previous management and international experiences
  • Business school or engineering degree
  • Project management experience
  • Good communication skills to be able to influence and gather people
